Red's Rule!

We won the cup and how we played!
Fans were all singing, their voices couldn't be stayed!
The roars were hard and cheering on!
As we watched the mighty Reds pass and run!

They worked so hard in their task to beat…AC Milan,
And I knew they would win, me, a mere female fan!
I never doubted the Reds would win that game!
Though I know some did, to their very shame!

I have total faith in that mighty team!
To bring home that cup, the Liverpudlian's dream!
The game set off, they played their very best,
Had to win, can't stop, no time to rest!

They were running here, running there, the ball flying fast!
One end of the pitch to the other, what a mighty task!
In the first minute AC Milan scored!
The fans went wild, everyone roared!

But the dice had rolled, the game was set!
We sat back and watched, it wasn't over yet!
2 more goals were scored by AC Milan again!
But the mighty Reds fought back, winning was their game!

The second half came, oh cor blimey, what a sight!
The Reds got 3 goals in 6 minutes – what a fantastic night!
They played the game both fast and hard,
Never eased up, or let down their guard!

Then the play-off was a penalty shot, who would win?
Well of course, it's the Reds!  Anything less was a sin!
So they took their turn, those who hit the ball!
But it was to be AC Milan who took the fall!

For mighty Liverpool Reds were on a roll…
So they took that cup, with that last goal!

And They'll Never Walk ALone!
