Brittany's Poems
bi polar love
his heart so pure
his love so precious
if only i could cure
his troubled mind
and oh, how those words pierce the heart
when he feels insecurity
should i make a chart
of what i love and what i hate
would it help our bi polar love?
would it hurt our precious gift?
he names me as his favorite dove
lets me fly, kisses me on my way up
then hes afraid i will fly too far away
takes away my wings
and tries to make me stay
kicks me on my way down
could he be any more troubled?
could he be any more perfect?
he wears me down to the stubble
lifts me up to my highest
is this on the way up he torture and this bliss
what they call love?
on the way up he gives me a kiss
on the way down he gives me a kick.
his love so precious
if only i could cure
his troubled mind
and oh, how those words pierce the heart
when he feels insecurity
should i make a chart
of what i love and what i hate
would it help our bi polar love?
would it hurt our precious gift?
he names me as his favorite dove
lets me fly, kisses me on my way up
then hes afraid i will fly too far away
takes away my wings
and tries to make me stay
kicks me on my way down
could he be any more troubled?
could he be any more perfect?
he wears me down to the stubble
lifts me up to my highest
is this on the way up he torture and this bliss
what they call love?
on the way up he gives me a kiss
on the way down he gives me a kick.
