I lay the stone down,
and close my eyes,
and look away,
My hands cover my ears,
To the child 's cry,
My heart closed.
I can't judge ,should I ?
I close my eyes to the wrong,
Otherwise I pick up the stone.
I watched injustice
and a child's voice quietuses,
I saw the scales of justice tilt,
And applauded for a predator that so well alludes
As the child held the guilt,
A child left to cry on his own.
On the ground lays a stone.
I closed my eyes and stayed silent,
What good are words any way,
For the next victim I pray,
This isn't just a sin,
This is a crime,
A child's innocent stolen,
While the world looks on so blind,
To inncocent's gone.
I pick up the stone,
Like the world did that day,
For the victim I silently cry,
A predator waves to the applauding crowd,
Injustice was loud.
guilty I am of sins though time,
But this is past a sin, this is a crime.
As the world leaves the child to cry alone,
I cast the stone.
