I stand guard at the door to make sure enemies don't pass through, they can be sneaky sometimes but as long as I'm up and about with a double barrel shotgun in hand, there ain't no way they gonna get by me. I stand proud for what I do for it's my duty.
I'm an American Soldier and I don't take no crap from nobody. I don't take no orders unless they're from my sergents or the head man. I take them from my comrads too sometimes. Better safe then sorry. I love who I am and I love what I do.
I support my country as well as fight for it and I'm not giving up my rights as an American Hero or as an American soldier. I joined the Military because I knew it's what I needed to do. It was my calling and who knows, when my duty is up, I just may re-enlist.
I'm tough and I'm ready for whatever may come my way. I'm bad to the bone until I get letters from home. They make me sad and then I start to cry. I do get lonely out here because I'm not able to see my family or my friends that help support me. But I thank them.
I start to sing the National Anthem as I take off my hat and put my right hand over my heart. I then say a prayer as I bow my head to thank God for letting me live another day. I pledge alligence to the flag cuz one day, for my country I will die.
