The Saddest Night

This Poem Is Dedicated To My Dearest Friends; Mary, Peter, Ann, Melva, Cheryl, Melesa, Caroline, and Melinda. God Bless You All!

Sometimes Things Get So Hard To Handle Inside That You Just Have To Write It All Down to Let It Out. Thus The Creation Of This Poem. I Hope You Like It.   Most Truly Yours, Brian Roberts

I Cried Myself To Sleep Last Night:
My Pillows Put Up Such A Hellish Fight!
The Teardrops Felt So Hot From Sight:
An Equal Measure As If From Fright!
So Deep My Pain Through Agony Flowed:
In Each One's Life A Love Must Fold!
The Stress, The Worries, The Hurtful Woes:
That Touched My Life Within My Soul!
So Deeper Yet My Time Will Go:
As If To Bleed From Eyes That Glow!
Yet Blissful Sleep Engulfed My Soul:
The Dreams That Brought My Eyelids Low.
So Now I Rest As God Does Know;
Through Deep Distress, and Fitful Moans.
I Pray Each Night That Things Will Change:
Yet In Disgrace I Feel Such Rage!
Can Not My Feeling Be Thus Brought:
The Emptiness Which I've Forgot!
I Simply Wish That I Could Live:
For On This Earth I'd Thus Forgive!
For Only Then Could I Breath Free:
The Searches Reached Beneath Each Tree!
As My Nature Pulls Me Deeper Yet:
The Sweetest Cradle I Would Get!
So Slumber Calls That I Would Bet:
The Loving Hearts For Rest I've Met!
So Now I Yearn For Breaking Dawn:
The Final Days For Which I've Gone!
A Rose, A Forest, A Mountain High:
Within My Dreams I'd Live On High!
Such Touch, Such Feelings With Me Abide:
So That You've Known I Just Have Cried!
