Musings by The Poet Loriet
Back Float
Just drifting in the pool,
cool blue tongues licking at my skin.
My ears dip below the surface
as I let my head and neck go lax
making the world's crazy noises
melt away and seem surreal.
The green tree leaves
swirl slowly above.
White cotton candy clouds
kaleidoscope.
What is it about WATER?
I CRAVE IT!
I long to become one with it.
My world disintegrates
and I feel as if
I could embrace and embody
the crystal water,
make it a forever part of me,
no borders or edges,
just blending with the blue,
locked forever
in a back float.
