TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION
Transported in deep meditation,
I see the future unfold.
The world in grievous disposition,
horrific events untold.
Corrupting governments entangle,
mankind with arcane laws.
Hypocritical and lawlessness strangle,
a populace with obvious flaws.
Eroding the fragile environment,
I see the firmament turn ashen.
Dispersing sour odor and acidulent,
laying heavy with no compassion.
Religious zealots of all faiths,
purporting their God is correct.
Warring between inter-faiths,
pays a heavy price to collect.
I see the dark streets teeming,
with the starving and half dead.
Emaciated, stumbling, screaming,
running with blood newly bled.
When the earth is left baron,
no life forms can be found.
No beautiful rose of Sharon,
no notes of nature sound.
