Ocean tides crashing in the morning mist
Churning the sand from this watery abyss
Rising seas engulfing the rocks
Reclaiming the sand surrounding the docks
Swells of waves reaching much higher
Quenching the sand hot as firer
As it draws back from beneath your feet
You spy a larger one making you retreat
The mighty sand castle standing so strong
In an instant is nearly gone
As the sun sets the sea recovers
Leaving these shores for young lovers
