These ones I love

Billy and Filly:  Part 2/ The Honeymoon

Billy and Filly took off for the moon.
(Where else would they go for their honey "moon"?)
Rushed right to the store to buy a balloon-
Now how could they know there'd be a typhoon?

They were a kissin up there in the air-
Not lookin around; not given a care.
When what to their shock should up and appear
But a great big sleigh and eight small reindeer.

At the helm was a right jolly old man-
Well, mostly he was, when thing were in hand.
He looked at Billy; they both looked at him-
Been blown off their course they all knew right then.

"What are ya doin in that there balloon-
Especially now in this here typhoon?"
"Why," Billy spoke as he pondered their doom-
"We're in this balloon to go to the moon."

"Well, ye be right crazy!"  the old man said.
"Best you'll be doin is windin up dead."
"Oh no," said Billy, "that just cannot be.
See, we're newly weds; we just got married."

"Ah," said the man, cheering up at last.
"Come back to my place; we'll have a real blast."
Billy and Filly went with this kind soul,
And spent their honeymoon at the North Pole.
