Mistakes we all make,
but we must learn to be wise.
Learning to listen to that still small voice,
that you hear on the inside.
When you are thinking of doing wrong,
even when you know it isn't right.
It's as if you are walking into darkness,
turning your back upon the light.
That still small voice inside you,
tries to warn you all along.
But instead of choosing the right thing to do,
you block it out and choose to do wrong.
As long as we choose not to listen,
if we keep choosing wrong over right.
The consequences that we will suffer,
can torment you the rest of your life.
So be wise and learn to listen,
to that still small voice in you.
It will help steer you in the right direction,
and guide you your whole life through.
