I try not to think of you

So very strong that it now hurts
I want nothing more
Than to try and make this work
If it's really over
Then I will need time away from you
Because getting over you
Is going to be really tough to do
I can't even look at our pictures
To look at your handsome face
Reminding me of the memories
Before our love faded away
I try not to think of you
But you are missed very much
If you don't know by now
You are my very first true love
When I think of you
My eyes tear up and I start to cry
I don't know how it happened
How we just let our love die
I will miss you very much
The love you and I shared
Please know that I will always love you
And I will always care
How will you feel
Will you miss me when I'm gone
Will it be as hard for you as it is for me
