These ones I love

Shopping Day Blues

Shopping here, shopping there.
Look for bargains everywhere.

This looks good, but check the price.
Put it down; grab not so nice.

Leave the steak; forget the ham-
My share goes to Uncle Sam.

Shop on August  thirty-first.
July's coupons in my purse.

Nothing much is on the shelves.
Plenty there for someone else.

Lots of things marked down today.
Most were cheaper yesterday.

My turn in the checkout line-
Oh no!  I've left my checks behind!
