My Vacation

Ah, the sights, smells, sounds, sailboats and surfers!!!!

I drank in the experience.

Since I was just about 8 years old,

And saw a movie about the Hawaiian Islands,

And a volcano that was erupting,

And the inevitable love story~~~~~

I have always wanted to see the islands.

I touched every thing I could get my hands on:

The petals of soft, exotic flowers,

The warm water of the Pacific,

The texture and warmth of the sand between my toes.

Every pore absorbed the warmth of the sun,

The moisture in the clouds,

The sense and rhythm of life and the nuances

And expressions of the local people.

I spent a week in this peaceful setting~~~~~

My time spent at Tracy's was a dream come true !!!!

I got to spend "play time"

with the love of my life,

My Katy.........

And we had Mary's Graduation Party,

I'm so proud of her for making it through~~~

life has not always been

easy for Mary......

Then we were off to

Disneyland~~~~

I don't think you ever get too old for Disneyland~~~~~

I enjoyed every minute !!!!

And I even went on rides,

thanks to the strength and constant assistance from

my beloved John........

my very best son-in-law......

If you ever get the chance to

Soar California~~~~

Go for it !!!!!

Marvelous.......

The fireworks every night

at Disneyland were spectacular.......

If I ever get my pictures,

I will share them with you.

All in all, this has been

a wonderful trip~~~~

and now I'm home again.

And remembering..............

So you will see poems about

things that I have experienced.

In the MEANTIME~~~

you are on my mind,
in my heart,
and also my prayers.....
