Before the Beginning…

What was it like for you when your womb was my prison?
Tell me was it hard or not when made to make a decision.
Whoa! Wait a minute, what's that sign say…clinic?
Hold up! Turn around…you ain't gotta walk up in it.
That place looks evil, like Satan in person.
Feels like the situation's about to be worsened.
I'm sorry my presence is a burdened surprise.
I promise you'll love me if you could look in my eyes.
I'm sorry I've scared you beyond your capacity.
Let me live now and I'll come when you ask for me.
Don't step to the counter, don't talk to the receptionist.
Don't wait for the doctor ‘cause you know he is a shiesty prick.
Don't grab a pen, don't fill out legalities…
Think about my life, think about realities.
I never would've thought my birth would be my enemy.
But it's pretty early yet and still there is a scare in me.
I just wanna exit my tomb and take my first breath,
wanna exit this womb and start my journey towards death,
feel latex touch me before I'm laid on your chest
learn the psychology of feeding from breast.
Wanna feel the warmth of your hold as you're pacing the floor.
Wanna hear the sound of the heartbeat that'll halt this life's war.
Wanna capture the feeling of the sun in my face.
You don't wanna do this, get away from this place!
What good can possibly come from avoiding my existence,
Other than simply taking the path of least resistance?
C'mon, live through the struggle, I know you can't stand it.
Then let my roots grow so my own seeds can be planted.
If you do end me before my beginning,
I want you to know that my heart is forgiving.
The answer to the question that's been burning inside?
Run away from this building and keep me alive!
In my life I want you to participate,
Tell the doc you ain't ready to emancipate.
                 Thank You;
Changing your mind really shows strength.
Thanks for my life, I'll live it to length.
I want you to know, my love is infernal.
From spark to a flame, burning eternal.
Don't be so sad, you're much more deserving.
Be proud of yourself, my life you're preserving.
Thanks for the juxtaposition before the incision,
for clearing your mind to choose with precision.
Because you chose breath, look what you got,
From bypassing death, a beautiful Scott!
From before the beginning, for you I have saw,
two wonderful grandkids and a daughter-in-law.
Now I live how I live, and get what I've got,
And I owe it to you…Believe it or not!
