 FULL MOON

The curse of the now full moon,
in legends told and  repeated.
Beware of nights, terror strewn,
of perilous happenings meted..

The tide given in to lunar's pull,
lapping waves gnaw at the shore.
Black velvet night - star full,
another chapter in it's lore..

Reflections on water shimmering,
a dull glow over the countryside.
Evil things in shadows simmering,
deranged and dangerous  hide.

Eerie and forever wary,
the man in the moon smiles.
Dark places sinister and scary,
he works his magic wiles.

Humanity driven to insanity,
by the full moons witching spell.
A profound litany of profanity,
a night straight out of hell.
