I'm always told
that I've got too much to write.
But I have so many stories to tell
that I can't hold inside.
So many things I see
every day around me.
I always write what I feel
and I admit
I also write what I hear.
With a pen in my hand
I sit and relax
I dream away,
and let my heart say
let my heart write
what it wants,
but it's never enough.
Everything I dream
everything I see
what else can I do
but write it down.
Everything I feel
everything I hear
It's all so real
so I write it down.
Sometimes I feel
I'm out of control.
So to find myself
I look into my soul.
All the bad feelings
and fears go away,
because I write down
what my heart has to say.
I know in my mind
I'm in control.
When I hold a pen in my hand
the words come from my soul.
I know I'm in command,
when I write down
how I feel
It's the way my heart heals.
