Sweet Baby Of Mine
*written for my cousin who just had a baby!*
Sweet Baby Of Mine
You down in the crib
sleeping like an angel
smiling slightly in your sleep
oh my baby what dreams are with you?
they seem to make you happy
and I hope they always will
all my days are full of joy since you came
looking at you I now know I am no longer the same
Sweet Baby of Mine
you came at a time
when my life needed something more
you was my blessing
right from conception
sweet baby of mine
how you substain me
your one little finger
means more to me than anything
When you are awake
you are my playmate
eyes so wide, full of innocence
heart bursting with this powerful pride
I did right....I made something so amazing
you are more beautiful and lovely
than I ever could imagine
how you have changed my life
and brought new meaning
because you are.....
