Lambs Amongst Beasts

Luke 10:1-12

A plentiful harvest but laborers are few,
So pray for workers to come as to reap;
With so little time and so much to do,
We must go wake those that are asleep.

Go out to be lambs amongst the beasts,
Carry no possessions likewise money;
Greet none on the road including priests,
Traveling in the land of milk and honey.

As you go say, "Peace be to this house,"
If peace is there so will your peace rest,
And accept hospitality from the spouse;
For their kindness will be surely blessed.

The Kingdom of God is coming very near,
Whoever hears you preach hears the Lord;
By accepting you they also to be sincere,
Showing their faith and believing the Word.

But whoever rejects you also rejects Christ,
By rejecting you they are also rejecting God;
For it is worldly desires they are enticed,
On Judgment Day punished each time flawed.
