When you glance in the mirror,
what do you see?
Are you the vision of the person,
you've always wanted to be?
When you stand in judgment of yourself,
how do your rate?
Are you what you wanted to become,
if this the person you wanted to create?
We are quick to praise others,
and unabashedly bestow,
complements and chance to one another
even given undeservedly so...
We should all first loves ourselves,
and live with dignity and grace.
Fight to become our very best self,
and just give ourselves a break.
