Hello, my name is failure,
and I'm such an ugly word.
If you're man enough to claim me,
then either you're a dweeb or a nerd.
I've hung around you for so long,
in a corner of your mind.
Success has claimed you far too long,
so I'll return the favor in kind.
I made you think you weren't good enough,
by taking all the pride in your work.
And now I'll make sure your life is tough,
you loathsome little twerp.
But, wait, you're throwing your shoulders back
is that confidence I see?
Great! Success is giving your courage back,
now I'll just have to watch while you succeed.
So, yes my name is failure and indeed...I've failed again!
