 Summerwood

In the summerwood
Where the fireflies go,
I love chasing them
To see their brilliant glow.

Into the darkness of the wood
I follow them there,
Enjoy breathing in
The fragrant filled air.

I look to the distance
And there I see,
A shimmer of light
Waiting there for me.

I want to stay
Where the fireflies are,
Here in the peaceful summerwood
Not watching them from afar.
