Breaking Even
*lol....written in silly fun!*
I am gonna make it now
I got my best dress on in this town
gonna wow them and show them what I can do
make all the right moves
so later when I am famous I won't get sued
my best manners on display
do I need them though?
you came for my writing away
and just when I think
I am on the top of the heap
I am gonna get a wake up call
that says sorry you are just breaking even!
I am getting that promotion at work
it doesn't matter if I play the jerk
that is exactly how you move up
at least in the corporate world
gonna give the company's private jet a whirl
gonna set the business world on fire
not literally but when you are top dog
you got all the power
jumping in my new Rolls Royce as I am leaving
I check my bank account on my cell
and to my shock....I am just breaking even!!
