God's Most Beautiful Angel-A Mother's Grief

Naked Eye

I am invisible.
Nothing to the naked eye.
My fear is now invincible.
I do wish I could die.

Something peaceful in my sleep.
A heat attack or aneurysm.
I'd pray to God my soul to keep
But that would smack of plagiarism.

Your pictures keep me here.
I've no other purpose to fulfill.
No sense of urgency drawing me near.
A total lack of being to thrill.

The mirror reflects emptiness.
An artificial view of life.
A camera without a lens.
A heart full of tripe.

Even to the naked eye…invisibility sucks.
