vulnerability speaks in search of the Irish
devastated of a promise that now turned dreams
meeting a pauper while frustration in the midst
softening this heart...wiping away these tears
a prince once regarded, another actor it seemed
just like the knight then in a camelot scheme
a thousand and one fair suitors in the scene
arose a man...a pauper, comparable to a prince
a test of faith when fate turned upside down
taming a stallion from the glory that drown
once in a kingdom of fame and material things
now so ordinary, still with a heart of a prince!
his crown are basal leaves yielding iris in blooms
his throne is majestic of carved woods and bamboos
his scepter is a broken cane but a magic wand it is
his cape is invisible that only pure-hearted can see
sense and sensibility blessed on an angelic face
a different style, a cross between east and west
intentions so divine still subjected to the test
a turkish prince's vows for a lady from the east
