Fairytale Dream Come True
For this young girl
It's a fairytale dream come true,
She had only read about unicorns
But never thought they'd be real to view.
She had always believed
That they existed,
Always had dreams
To be visited.
She went walking through
The misty woods,
Stopped by a quiet pond
She once went during childhood.
Off in the distance
She saw there,
A beautiful white unicorn
Of her, it was well aware.
It showed no fear
As the unicorn knew,
This young human girl
Was only there to view.
The unicorn walked to her
And let her lean on him,
As he drunk from the pond
She hummed a little hymn.
