M's Poetry
The Road Between
Right in this heart, inside of my flesh
is all these emotions
running wild, some suppressed
some days I feel on top of the world
others I just wonder my purpose
it's in these days that I feel so lost
I find my deepest strength
a voice so softly that guides me
and touches my spirit immensely
He is my Lord
and I am his apprentice
I know in this world things fall apart
but His presence in my life is never absent
guiding me like the street lights at night
to show me my destination
I am not there but still faithfully driving
as the sun rises so does once again my hope.
