Captured Heart

It wasn't with a net of silk
Weaved from threads of love ago
Nor was it with a magic jar
With lid sealed tight and so

It wasn't sprinkles of midnight dust
Collected from wishing star
Nor with sweet dreams sent away
To the land of nod so far

It wasn't with the strongest rope
Meant to tame this beauty wild
It was you and only you
That drew me all the while

Oh yes, my love, I must confess
That I eagerly dropped my guard
To let you walk into my world
And capture my beating heart
