The Reality Poet
Search for Happiness
By: Samantha Fitzgerel
People search for happiness
they look for it everywhere
on a barstool drinking liquor
they surely won't find it there
In a fine white line of powder
that they've snorted up their nose
happiness won't be the end result
just brief highs and horrible lows
They melt & shoot it up their veins
just hoping for some peace
though all their efforts will be in vain
they'll cry "give me more please"
In their search for happiness
they have surely failed miserably
in the end they'll find addiction
and it will destroy their lives completely
