 Hurricane Katrina
Water flooding,
all around.
People on roof tops,
screaming sounds.
People filled with fear,
as hurricane winds blow,
Houses torn to pieces,
there's no place for them to go.
Wanting to be sheltered from the storm,
to be safe from the weather outside.
For those who didn't evacuate,
they are now fighting to stay alive.
No food or water for days,
feeling helpless and losing hope.
Pray for God to bless them,
to give them the strength to cope.
Pray that God will give them peace,
and to restore all that was taken away.
Pray that God will send his blessings,
to make each day a brighter day.

Kelley Marie Quinn

Don't forget to pray for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
