My Affection
I think you know by now
you are are all I ever see through this crowd
you are my Mona Lisa
you are my crown jewel
and I think you know by now
nothing is off limits
there is no rules
life is at it's finest when it's just us two
cuz I could spend forever just with you
you are my love and my affection
my affection
gave this heart of mine resurrection
and I can't seem to love enough
what you have returned is simply priceless
took this rough interior and made it all soft
Baby I am so different
I think it's fitting
that love could change even your name
the capacity to see the world anew
you have opened this heart wide open
for the first time it's so free
words can't cover how happy you have made me
cuz you are my love and my affection

took this rough interior and made it all soft
50 years down the line I can see us
gray-headed but still beaming
as we pour through our photograph collection
