This World....and Another...
The pain of this World brings me to tears
Wouldn't it be a better World
if we could embrace our brothers and sisters
shake hands with our fellow man
lift him up when he's fallen down
shake off the dust of his clothes
feed him when he's hungry
clothe him when he is naked
tell him,
the world left alone
with it's wicked ways
will meet a disasterous and final conclusion
but,
an eternity of light and sunshine
will fill his heart with love
standing in the presence of the Lord
a certain closeness
to the one who made you..
no more pain, anguish or grief
no more toil or trouble
and end to your lonelyness
Like it says in the good book,
"It just takes the faith of a Child"..
Even if your faith..
your belief
is the size of a mustard seed
nurish that little seed with Love..
and in time
you will stand in favour with the Lord..
For how can you wrong another man..
with Love in your heart?
