Misery isn't your friend
Misery can bring about feelings of dispair..
You feel like all is lost.
You have nothing left.
And you feel like nobody really cares...
Misery isn't your friend,
it will ravage your weakened soul.
Misery if welcomed in,
has been known to eat others whole.
Misery will devour you,
if you allow it to fester inside.
Misery isn't in control,
but it's your strength you choose to hide.
You can take control of your life,
and decide to think positive things.
It's your thoughts and your outlook,
that gets you through difficult things.
Misery isn't the master,
It's you who can take control.
Kick to the curb your misery,
for it will keep you from being whole.
