REQUIEM
Violent humanity, where is your soul ?
Is your dark heart as black as coal ?
Are you forever considered clueless,
doomed, can you see Hade's abyss?
Have you not learned from past mistakes,
and from that premise, vow to break,
The scurrilous murders taking place,
are we condemning the human race ?
From ancient times to the present,
power goes to the head of those sent,
to rule over the entire populace,
a mighty tyrant sloughing arrogance.
Bloodshed, maiming and carnage,
the world reels within it's outrage..
Ruinous devastation revisited now,
weapons have replaced the worn plow.
Man has always been a violent breed,
shame cast upon those who lead.
A peaceful world is unknowingly done,
til this violence ends, peace won't be won.
