The Reality Poet
Banish the Prejudice Dance
By: Samantha Fitzgerel
Red, yellow, black, white & brown
all colors of one human race
In our creators eyes, no preference is found
yet it's a stark difference we face
If you will look deep within our veins
you'll find the color of our blood is red
But for some reason we're not all treated the same
some have a hate in their hearts, that's inbred
Great men have come and died before us
trying to give us a better chance
It they could speak to us now, they would implore us
to banish this prejudice dance
Live our lives in a way that is proud
love our neighbors like God said we should
Respect one another, don't let hate be allowed
a life of Love, Peace, & Harmony is good
