God Gave Me A Voice

When I was just a wee little girl,
I had this burning desire to sing.
God blessed me with a beautiful voice,
so his sweet music, I could bring.
I hear the melody of sweet notes in my head,
they have become one with my soul.
The words of my music, cause me to reflect
on life's pleasures, pains, and woes.
I love to make the people smile,
with the sweet sound of music upon their ears.
If I can help just one, make it through a trial,
my talent will be worth their tears.
A God given talent is a wonderful thing,
and is not to be taken lightly.
So for Him & for others I will always sing,
I want the beam of His Love, thru me, to shine brightly.
