I talked to an Army soldier yesterday,
He told me what he was in his unit but
I can't think of what he said except for
It started with the letter C.
He was dancing with his daughter on the
Skate floor as I and my friends danced along.
He said he was in the Army National Guard,
I thought cool so is my cousin Steve.
I must of got carried away by the songs
That were playing because still I couldn't
Remember what that devotional soldier said
About what he was in his unit.
I thought and thought of what it could be.
It started with that letter C--Commander, Cook,
Corporal, no, it wasn't none of these.
I thought of what he was when I went to bed.
I woke up this morning still pondering on
What in the world was that, that soldier said.
Why is that letter C still stuck in my head?
It'll come back to me, I know it will but as of
Now, I must be in dreamworld.
