I wanna be a sailor when I grow up.
I wanna be brave, strong, and curageous,
I wanna be fearless, determined, and ready to fight,
I wanna be a Hero and salute to all the Americans.
I wanna stand up for what is right and protect my country,
I wanna be behind my comrads even if it means standing on the front line,
I wanna help the wounded when they fall,
I wanna write letters to my family and friends while in service.
I wanna carry the load that others may not be able to carry,
I wanna do my duty and do it with Honor and Pride,
I wanna do something right for my country,
I wanna be a Navy Sailor and not just a civilian.
I wanna to be a better person and look good in that uniform,
I wanna take a test and stand up for the challenge that follows,
I wanna be a friend and a comrad to other Sailor's too,
I wanna come home on the weekends and tell about my new life.
So, the next time you ask me what I wanna be....I'm a tell you
I want to be in the United States Navy cuz I wanna be a Sailor.
