Nightmares of You

I cry out your name
In my sleep ~
Still have nightmares
Of you.

In agony
I re-live
The pain you put me
Through.

I cannot take
The sheer heartache.
You pierce my heart
With a wooden stake.

I cry
Tears of blood.
I shall drown
In this flood…

A toxic
Crimson tide.
