Dark Flaw
The words of you just make me smile
takes the gloom and makes it evaporate
as I step into this room
so many things could make me cry
but I have learned some toughness I promise....
I see your face
you are my best ally
if we could build our own fantasies
just tell me, just tell me
would it be me in yours?
because I am lonely
painfully on the inside
please don't go
never meant to take away your dreams
Now I know it's too early to judge
how wonderful we could be
and I know it's premature
to put my heart on a stake
but I am too old
to tango or play games
I can see you looking at me
and it pierces right through
like you read my thoughts
it's so scary but yet so wonderful
and I can't hide behind words I don't mean
can't play dress up
you see right through my seams
please help me, help me
I am so lonely
it's so black on the inside...didn't mean to frighten you
please don't go
never meant to take away your dreams.....
