Blessed are the days,
When I can have it my own way.
But you, dear mother,
Would never lead me astray.

You have a heart so bold,
Worth more than the weight in gold.
All the riches on this earth,
Could not replace your giving me birth.

Blessed are those who share,
For they are the ones who care.
Mother, you are blessed with giving.
May this bless you with good living.

My love for you will always grow,
Even though it may not always show.
Thank you for all the warmth you share,
A feeling of comfort I will forever bear.
