 "Snapshot"

With a snapshot...

Tiny little colored dots appear
          Specks of the world's truths
                    A glimpse of the future
                              The realities of the past
Helping memories to last and last

Over-exposed
          Under-developed
Don't be afraid to open and look
In the mind they remain a permanent fixture
Of all there is in life's mixture

The physical picture
          or vividness of mind
                    With age and handling
                              Edges may get worn
Yet the image is never torn

With the smile of a mouth
          A frown upon the brow
                    Unaware of how or why
                              Without looking, emotions come through
                                        Not understanding,- but they do

Like a mirror up on the wall
There is a reflection for all to see
Love is Love, It was meant to be
                              It will never grow outdated
As that is what God created.

                                                             ...With a snapshot
