In The Dark
Make me fumble
see this vision come forth
make me lapse into a daydream
make my heart stop and start
let my eyes realize my desire
never to keep us apart
these kisses
can't leave us innocent
as we lay here in the dark
make the memories unbreakable
to share a space in the heart
and leave us only to imagine
what will come next
no denials just belief that you are the best
clock is turning, the love is burning
in this seclusion, as we lay here in the dark
Forget pretending, it's all here just waiting
things come and go so easily
sometimes without trial, just glances of temptation
but let this night
never leave my soul
faded scars and lines
is always inevitable
but sometimes we get lucky
and leave with marks we actually wanted
tonight the thoughts are raging
secret hearts never get to finish first
so in these moments love let's quench our thirst
make the most of this time
as we lay in the dark
