I have a friend called Nana,
her face I've never seen,
But to my mind her words are like Manna,
of poets she is queen!
I imagine her to be like, all Nanas Should,
Living in a little house at the edge of a wood,
She has twinkling eyes and a kindly smile,
and a warm heart known for many a mile.
With her lovely words, she invites you to step into her world,
Sometimes you smile, Sometimes you'll cry
Sometimes you laugh til you just want to die!
Though her visage I may never see,
She is veryu special to me,
Someday I hope to meet her Face to face,
I'll say"thank you Nana, for making this world a better place."
