…Then There's Mark…Husband to Marie, and son of mine, So gentle is he, a lad so fine! Football crazy, oh golly wow, but he is! He watches every match! And gets in a tiz!! When a goal is scored, oh my oh my, The air is blue, you should hear him cry! Cos he yells his head off, oh what a sight! He carries on like that, all ruddy night!! On of course Jack, my grandson true! Sits with his dad, and he screams too! Footie is his passion, and a passion so strong! On the footie pitch is where he'll belong! They sit with their arms around each others neck! My daughter's nerves are a nervous wreck! She sits in the other room, for fear of fright! Cos all she hears is screaming all flippin' night! And next day when I see Jack, all he will say; Is, ‘Nan, last night, did you watch Liverpool play?' Oh hells bells and banana boats, this flippin' child! Goes on about football so much he drives us wild! He talks to his dad, that's Mark ya know! And get all the information, and then he's in the flow! He can name their names and he can tell you the teams, How much they were sold for; and all of their deals! He gets into conversation with Mark all the time, And Mark said to me one day; ‘I don't feel fine! He's worse than me with football, and that drives me mad! I'm bad enough, but he's worse than me! And I'm his dad!' Well the look on Marks face that day when he said that! I couldn't believe it; you could have knocked me flat! Cos Mark is sports crazy, of that there's no doubt!
