Whether Or Not
There's still one thing
I wish you would say to me
maybe you won't
maybe you can't
whether or not you speak these words
I have decided already it won't decide the outcome
Every time it feels like lightning
it's not easy pretending
all the clay faces closing in
and I don't want to lay it all on a line
if you can't believe me
I don't want to say I love you all the time
if you don't need me
the case is open...and after all these moments
one doesn't stand for any clarity
but whether or not I find peace
won't stop me from me living my life
Whether or not you come clean
whether or not you stand up
Whether or not you apologize
I will move on...you won't rule my emotions
for too long I let you
but this day marks a new dawn
cuz I have realized for too long you had the power
you don't deserve nothing
but a lonely ending
