The Nativity
SultryRose's Signatures
The fire gives off a soft warm glow
on a cold December night
as the little boy and little girl
are filled with such delight
They kneel beside a table
with nativity set in hand
fond memories of a baby
who was born upon this land
Here they place the wise men
who followed that shining star
the kings in all their royalty
who came from near and far
The animals were strewn about
Mary and Joesph in their place
the Angel resides on top
proclaiming God's amazing grace
And there right in the center
baby Jesus finds His way
He was born into a manger
thats why we celebrate this day
Little hands arrange the pieces
painted figures here and there
each has a special place
their sat down with loving care.
