Missing You
The house is so sad
and so is the lawn,
the doors and the windows,
the tables and chairs!
The lawn is just growing
and it cries for a cut,
the doors and the windows
are lonely of sound!
The table is tidy
and just longing for stuff
to be scattered at random
all over it's top!
The chairs are all crying,
feeling empty, alone,
they wish for your warmth
and comfortable touch!
Your keyboard is silent,
your screen is all dull,
it is silent and sleeping
and dreaming of you!
And then there is me,
I sit here and think
and long for your smiling,
your laughter and love!
