Goose On The Loose

My goose is
On the loose,
And my cat
Is in a spat!

My horse is
On a course,
And my rat
Is getting fat!

My mouse is
Heading south,
And my frog is
On a jog!

My sheep is
Fast asleep,
And my dog is
Drinking grog!

My bear has
Lost his hair,
And my lion is
Looking fine!

My yak has
Hurt his back,
And my swine are
Drinking wine!

My cow is
Feeling sour,
And my drake is
Not awake!

My bee is
Drinking tea,
And my snake
Is eating cake!

My mind is
Swirling round,
And my head is
Burning red!

My eyes are
Getting sore,
So I think
I'll go to bed!

Joy Weare,
20th November, 2005.
