Pure Thoughts
On the Road No One Wants
You look down an empty road
That no one wants to travel on
You know it has no destination
It just goes on and on and on
You wish you could make it go somewhere
But you know you never will.
God what's a lost life to do?
When you don't know what's ahead of you
And you're trying to forget what you left behind
Because you want to go on with your life
You know that you've been changing
And you're glad of the growing
But when you think of growing you think
What am I going to do with my life?
You want your road to lead you,
To where you really want to go
But you don't know where that really is.
You're on the road meant for you
But still you are so lost
It's leading you in the right direction
But are you sure that's the way you want to go
God help me decide I know I need to know.
