The Reality Poet
How Will You Deal
By: Samantha Fitzgerel
When you've made it thru a trial,
do you survive or celebrate?
You have made it thru one more mile,
you've been given another day.
So you've won another battle,
and you're proudly keeping score.
Serve your spoils on silver platters,
like the legends of folk lore?
Today you'll stand on a mountain top,
your head held high on you shoulders.
Tomorrow the valley may cause you to drop,
you may be pounded with life's boulders.
Circumstances of life can be tough,
but you have to fight to the bitter end.
Give it your best, it may be rough,
but in the end, you may find you'll win.
